What is a Lexile ® Reading Level?

Lexile ® Reading scores help measure the difficulty of a reading passage. The Lexile ® measure takes into account difficulty of vocabulary, sentence length, and punctuation. Almost every Topic in Kids Discover Online's library has 3 different Lexile ® Reading Ranges:

• Low: 550L-740L
• Medium: 750L-890L
• Hard: 900L-1040L
