Selecting a Lexile® Level for a Student

Kids Discover Online offers three different Lexile® reading ranges for every single Topic. Whether your students are in 3rd grade or in 8th grade, you'll be able to select an appropriate reading level for them.

To assign a Lexile® Reading level from your Kids Discover Online Classroom:

1. Go to Classroom tab located on the main navigation on top of the page
2. Select the Classroom in which that student is assigned
3. Select the tab titled “STUDENTS”
4. Select the specific student and assign one of three levels for the student
5. The level will automatically be saved for all future assignments accessed via that Classroom. The reading level for each student can be changed at any time.
